Welcome! I am the founder, Mary Arnason, I started typesetting in 1985, procuring my journeyman’s ticket for compositing (as typesetting was then known) in 1991. Over the last 40 years, I have worked for several international agencies and with many talented designers in Vancouver, BC.
Now located in the Cariboo Region of BC, Me.Tu continues to maintain proficiency with the broad and ever changing technologies, architectures and media necessary to complete even the most demanding work throughout BC and Alberta.
what is it?
This is a process of conceptualizing building or structure design for many different purposes. Here are examples showing the wide range of circumstances where this style of design becomes useful.
Example A – a simple chicken coop designed for use in a pilot project to bring the fun and usefulness of raising chickens to urban community gardens.
Example B – a concept for land use renewal as an artist’s district, community garden and business complex.
Example C – a more complex project that was born from community input for revisioning existing industrial land to a commercial agricultral centre.
